Yukhny – lamb and green beans


1 1/2 lb cubes of lamb
1 1/2 lb fresh green beans cut into 1 1/2″ length (frozen can be used)
1 lg can stewed tomatoes
1 lg onion, sliced
2 cloves garlic
3 tbsp olive oil

Salt and pepper taste

How to prepare

1) in a large sauce pan brown lamb in olive oil
2) add onions cook until wilted (not browned)
3) add green beans and tomatoes
4) cover, bring to boil, then reduce heat to low and cook 45 min
