Tuscan meatballs


3 cloves garlic, peeled and minced
1 lb lean ground round
1 baking potato, peeled, cooked and diced
2 eggs
1/2 cup freshly grated parmesan
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley

6 sage leaves or 1 tbsp dried sage
1/4 tsp dried marjoram
2 tbsp lemon juice
salt and pepper to taste
60 med mushrooms, stems removed
1/2 cup dry bread crumbs
1/4 cup melted butter

Garnish: 4 sprigs parsley

Fifteen minutes prior to baking, preheat oven to 500
