Turkish lamb with green beans


For lamb:
1 lb cubed lamb (a mixture of leg pieces and neck or other boney pieces is the best) (cook the day before)
1 onion, grated or finely minced
2 tbsp butter
1 cup water
For Beans:
2 lb green beans, cut lengthwise (the tougher & bigger the beans the better)
2 lg sliced tomatoes (or 4 plum tomatoes)
1 cup water
Salt & pepper
