Sweet & sour pork


1 lb pork cut in cubes
1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup cornstarch
1 tbsp oyster sauce
2 tbsp soy sauce
1/4 tsp salt

1 egg, beaten
1 tsp sugar
1 slice minced ginger
1 tbsp wine or rice vinegar
1 clove garlic, pressed
1/2 cup catsup

1 tsp soy sauce
1/2 cup pineapple juice
1/4 cup vinegar
1/2 cup sugar
2 tbsp cornstarch
2 tbsp water
1 can pineapple chunks
green pepper chunks

How to prepare

Combine marinade ingredients and marinate meat 20 minutes or longer. Mix together in plastic bag: 1/2 cup flour and 1/2 cup cornstarch. Add meat to bag and shake. Blend first five ingredients in small saucepan. Add cornstarch and water heat until thickened. Add pineapple and green peppers. Deep fry meat in wok. Remove to serving platter. Pour sauce over meat and serve over rice.
