3 plum tomatoes, cut lengthwise into 1/4″-thick slices
3 tsp olive oil
two 3/4 – 1″ thick shoulder lamb chops (8 to 10 oz each)
2 tsp ground cumin
1/2 tsp coarse salt
1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper
