Shark Kebabs With Orange Avocado Salsa


1/4 cup orange juice
3 tbsp fresh lemon juice
2 tbsp olive oil
1 1/2 tbsp chili powder
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
1 1/2 lbs 1″ thick shark fillets, cut into 1″ cubes
1 lg orange, peeled, cubed
1/2 cup red onion. chopped
1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
1 tbsp garlic, chopped
1 serrano or jalapeno chili, seeded, minced
1 lg avocado, peeled, cubed

How to prepare

Mix orange juice, 2 tbsp lemon juice, 1 tbsp olive oil, chili powder and cayenne pepper in lg bowl. Add shark; toss to coat. Let stand at room temperature 30 min.. Combine orange cubes, onion, cilantro, garlic, chili, remaining 1 tbsp lemon juice and 1 tbsp olive oil in med bowl. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Gently mix in avocado. Let salsa stand up to 1 hour. Preheat broiler. Thread shark on 4 skewers, dividing equally. Broil until just opaque in center, turning occasionally, about 8 min.. Serve kebabs with salsa. 4 Servings You can also make these with swordfish, halibut or sea bass.
