Plum sauce


1/2 cup chutney
1 cup plum jelly
1 tbsp sugar
1 tsp vinegar

How to prepare

Chop chutney fine, combine in a saucepan with rest of ingredients; blend well and heat thoroughly, stirring. If too thick, thin with water. Pour into jar, cap tightly, store in cool place, serve as dip in small condiment dishes. Variations: instead of plum jelly, use peach or apricot preserves; instead of white sugar, use brown; instead of vinegar, use lemon juice.
