Pirate steak


3 lb sirloin steak, 2″ thick

1 can beer (12 oz)
1/2 cup chili sauce
1/4 cup salad oil
2 tsp soy sauce
1/2 cup coarsely chopped onion
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1 tsp dijon mustard
1/2 tsp tabasco
1/8 tsp liquid smoke

How to prepare

Mix all ingredients except steak, salt and pepper
simmer 30 minutes. Brush meat with sauce. Place steak on grill 4″ from med coals. Cook 15 minutes on each side, basting frequently with sauce. Season with salt and pepper right before serving. Serve with remaining sauce. Yield: 6 servings
