Mexican cornbread


3 cup maize meal
1/2 cup flour
2 tsp baking soda
2 tsp salt
2 tbsp sugar
3 egg, beaten
2 1/2 cup buttermilk
1/2 cup oil
1 lg onion
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 cup jalapeno pepper
1 oz pimento, chopped
1/4 lb bacon, crisp
15 oz cream-style maize, canned
1 1/2 cup cheese, grated

How to prepare
