Indian asparagus


2 cups of asparagus cut into 1/2″ pieces
1/2 red onion
2 jalapenos, seeded
2 cloves of garlic, minced
2 tsp vegetable oil
12 black pepper corns

1 red pepper flakes, crushed
1/2 tsp cumin seeds

How to prepare

Heat vegetable oil. Add pepper corns, pepper flakes, cumin seeds when these crackle, add jalapenos, add 1/3 tsp salt.
Next, add the onions and garlic fry for 2 minutes, and then add the chopped asparagus pieces. Stir well, simmer the heat, add 1/4 cup of water, keep this covered with a lid and stir every 4 minutes or so. When it is tender, the water is all gone. This recipe can be used for green beans, carrots, cabbage, etc.
