Genoa toasts


2/3 cup olive oil
4 garlic cloves, minced and mashed to a paste with a pinch of salt
1/2 of a day-old thick focaccia (see recipe ), cut into 1/4″-thick slices
coarse salt to taste

How to prepare

In a bowl stir together the oil and the garlic paste, brush both sides of the focaccia slices lightly with the oil mixture, and bake the slices in one layer on baking sheets in a preheated 250
