Chinese peanut-butter sauce


3 tbsp peanut butter
2 tbsp sesame oil
2 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp sherry
2 tbsp sugar
3 tbsp chinese vegetable broth
1 tbsp hoisin sauce
2 tbsp tomato puree
1 tsp chili sauce or 1/2 tsp chinese chili oil

How to prepare

Heat the ingredients together gently for 3 minutes over low heat, stirring continuously. This is a southern sauce, often poured over cooked bean curd, well-cooked hard vegetables, or noodles and other starches.
