Chinese barbecued spareribs


2 lb spareribs in one piece, excess fat removed
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 tbsp honey
2 tbsp hoisin sauce
2 tbsp white vinegar

1 tbsp chinese rice wine or dry sherry
1 tsp finely minced garlic
1 tsp sugar
2 tbsp chicken stock
plum sauce

How to prepare

Combine the soy sauce, honey, hoisin sauce, vinegar, wine, garlic, sugar and chicken stock in a small bowl and mix well. Put the spareribs in a shallow pan or dish and cover them well with the marinade. Let them marinate for 3 hours at room temp, or six hours in the fridge, turning and basting several times.
