3 lb. Frying chicken, in pieces
1/2 cup olive oil or vegetable oil
2 med. Onions, peeled and chopped
2 lg cloves garlic, peeled & minced
2 cans (8 oz) tomato sauce
1 tbsp chopped parsley
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1 tsp dried basil
1/4 cup dry red wine (or white)
1/2 cup sliced fresh mushrooms
1/8 tsp salt
