Banana bread


2 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking soda
8 tbsp butter
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
2 tbsp honey
2 large eggs

2 ripe bananas, mashed
1/2 cup chopped raisins
1/2 cup chopped walnuts

How to prepare

Heat the oven to 350f. Butter and flour a 9 x 5 loaf pan. Sift the flour, salt and soda in a large mixing bowl. Beat the butter and brown sugar until thick and creamy. Stir in the honey. Add the eggs and beat until fluffy. Add the flour mixture and stir to make a smooth batter. Fold in the bananas, raisins and nuts. Turn the batter into the prepared pans and bake for 1 1/4 hours, or till tested done. Turn the bread onto a wire rack to cool.
