Ingredients
1/2 cup almonds, with skins
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup mayonnaise
5 slices bacon
1 tbsp chopped green onion
1 tbsp chopped celery
1 tbsp green pepper, chopped
1/2 tsp dill weed
pepper to taste
How to prepare
Place almonds on cookie sheet and bake at 350 for a few minutes until browned. Watch carefully. Fry bacon until crisp; crumble. Beat cream cheese, then gradually stir in mayonnaise. Add bacon, vegetables, and seasonings. Mix well, cover and chill overnight. When chilled, cover top surface with almonds. Serve with an assortment of crackers.
